Show-Me State Games Volunteer Registration Application


The Show-Me STATE GAMES are THE LARGEST STATE GAMES IN THE NATION!

One key reason to our success as the largest games event is our outstanding volunteers who dedicate their time and energy in making the Games run so smoothly! We cannot thank you enough for giving us your time! 

Once you've registered to volunteer, we will email you to confirm we've received your application. A week prior to the Games, you will receive an additional email to confirm your volunteer assignment. It is important to apply early for the best chance at being placed at your sport of preference. If you DO NOT receive an email, please reach out to us at [email protected] or 573-884-2946.

Everyone that volunteers this Summer will receive a free volunteer t-shirt! Thank you to our amazing partners at Mizzou for making this year's Volunteer Program possible!  

Contact Information

*Note if volunteer is under 18, you will be required to submit a paper registration form with a parent signature.
We will use this method to send you your volunteer shift, reminders, invite to banquet, etc.
Businesses/groups can be recognized at the games when they have 12+ volunteers sign up. We will print your logo on the back of your volunteer t-shirts. In order to process forms and get shirts printed, volunteers must register NO LATER THAN JUNE July 1.
(hours required, guidance counselors name, etc.)

Availability

Please select the date(s) and time frame(s) that you are available to volunteer. Time slots are only general hours; more specific times will be listed under the team information. You must select the date(s) and time frame(s) that you're available, before choosing the sports that you'd like to volunteer for. PLEASE ONLY CHOOSE THE SHIFTS YOU'D LIKE TO WORK. IF YOU CHOOSE MULTIPLE SHIFTS, WE WILL ASSUME YOU WANT TO WORK ALL OF THESE EVENTS. 


Preferred Teams

Once selecting your availability, you can choose which sports you'd like to volunteer for. If you click on the sport below, it will give more specific information on the length of the volunteer shift and a description of your volunteer duties. Once you've chosen your availability and team, you will have the ability to select a specific volunteer shift. Please ONLY select the shifts you want to work, we will assume you want to work all of the shifts you've selected. If you do not see your preferred sport listed, this sport has been filled. Please notate your preference in the field below; if a slot opens for this sport, we will do our best to accommodate your preference.

*Please notate, if you have never volunteered for Registration of Athletes, there may be a 5-10 minute mandatory training in the SMSG office before the start of the Games.
